About the Author

Chris Lin lives in Ann Arbor Michigan. He studied Chinese at the University of Michigan and in China. He recently adopted Mandy from China. This book is dedicated to her and the fun things she brings to life.

About the Illustrator

Ingrid Villalta, a devoted mother of twin boys, has a passion to create colorful images that capture children's imagination. Her works include illustrations, paintings, and murals. She lives in the Washington D.C. area.

I haven't seen many other children's books out there with English, Pinyin and simplified Chinese characters. This was what we needed.

My 2 year old daughter can't get enough of it. She insists on hearing the CD every day and already knows when to turn the page, when listening to the CD. She already knows how to say Slide and Swing in Mandarin whenever we go to the park. Great product! Can't wait more of the series to come out.
